Mitsu still has a lot of DLP projections to be sold before they bring LaserVue to us... It is coming next month: SEPTEMBER 2008! I will get one this X-mas when the holiday promo is expected

Conspiracy theorists the world over are suggesting that the delay in releasing Laser TVs is simply because of the amount of money that has been sunk into Plasma and LCD. Once Laser TVs are produced at a sensible size, Plasma and LCD are expensive paper weights. This might also explain the miraculous drop in price on these TVs over the last 12mths or so.........

I agree with dave. It's 1/2 way through the 3rd quarter already. Mitsubishi said they will ship the 65" TV to retailers *in* the 3rd quarter. To not have extensive reviews and marketing programs in place at this point is a very bad sign. Either the TV doesn't work, or the marketing department is having cold feet and are about to delay or kill the launch.

Very disappointing. Get the TV to the reviewers for full reviews, or admit what the problem is.

This is really getting to be a bit of a joke. Here we are in the 3rd quarter and still virtually no info (other than vague stuff). I dont get the marketing strategy with this one. Lots of hype, no real substance.
