Buy LaserVue Online!

Long overdue and much speculated about, Mitsubishi’s LaserVue laser television has arrived just in time for Black Friday and the holiday shopping season. Priced at $6,999 for the 65-inch model, this laser-powered luxury shockingly stands out when compared to the surplus of affordable flat screen models. However, LaserVue is attempting to bring back market interest in rear-projection TV with cutting edge technology and arguably the best looking picture quality your eyes have ever seen.

The LaserVue is 3D-ready, wall mountable, and happens to be energy efficient – using less power than a comparable LCD or plasma set. So if you are looking for the purest picture imaginable, and price is no object, Mitsubishi has this one of a kind TV for you.  Crutchfield is apparently out of stock, but Amazon has a few left in stock.  A 73-inch LaserVue is due to be released later this year.

    Mitsubishi:
    Supply & Demand = P vs Q
High Price = Low Quantity Supplied
aka Low Demand = < Supply

I think your best Business Strategy is for an Equilibrium Price.

~That compares equal or lower to LCD & Plasma.
    Please, No Politics.

I’ve finally given up! I just can’t justify the cost or wait for the price to get realistic. I bought a Samsung Series 6 LN52A630, 52″, 120hz, 4ms that came with a Samsung BDP1500 Blu-ray for $2199 at Circuit City. I did not need the higher series extra HDMI inputs since I feed the Tivo Series 3, Blu-ray, Wii and iPod video through my AV system. The picture is absolutely AWSOME! I can’t imagine how the laser color could be any better without looking weird. I’ve been watching Nation Geo HD specials this week - and the picture is absolutely jaw dropping good.

Doesn’t seem like it could be any better but it is… for any techies out there you can read a tech guys review on the LaserVue at:

    http://hdguru.com/mitsubishi-laservue-l65-a90-first-tech-review-hd-guru-exclusive/310/

Here is a snippet of the article
“There are “High” and “Low” color temperature settings. In “High” mode, the reading was 11,199 K, making white and grays too blue. The “Low” setting was very close to the industry standard of 6500K with reading of 6518K (x.3115, y.3394) @ 20 IRE (dark gray) and 6570 K (x. 3110, y.3347). There are service mode adjustments of gray scale (also called white balance) however; the readings were so close to perfect I do not believe a calibration would yield a noticeable improvement.”

The site even has graphs of the test they performed and with this final quote of “Overall the L65A90 rates in the stratosphere of top displays…” thats saying something coming from a technical stand point.

I hope to get one sometime in 09… I plan on getting the 73′ version myself.

And the poor europeans are still waiting and don’t know if the laser tv technique will ever be released there. And when they will start selling them, the price will be much higher than in the U.S..
