What’s with the blue lights on the front? I think they’ll be distracting for serious viewing. Also, Mitsubishi’s new LCD and DLP sets have a nicer shape than the sculpted bottom on the Laservue. At the very least, I hope the blue lights can be turned off.

I received emails from the Mitsubishi laser tv website yesterday. They have more info on the site now about the upcoming release, more pics, and product stats. They even say that the TV will be wall mountable (yes!)

Laser TV org staff. Thanks for making this site available for us. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be, from your end, to have so little information on a “game changing” product. Even so close to its “launch date”. Something ain’t stirring the kool aid with this tv. I hope it is just bad marketing and not all hype no real substance once it comes out.

thanks for the information – i will double check all our code and see if anything got in. we here at laser-tv.org NEVER want to spread viruses or other malware, but we’ve seen a recent spike in hackers injecting code into other websites.

WARNING!!! I installed Google Chrome web browser today. When I looked at this website afterwards (I check the page almost daily) I got a notice that a flash plug-in was needed to display all of the page correctly. My virus scan software (Vipre) has now detected that this flash-player plug-in is actually Trojan-downloader.win32.hanlo.t and is a very high risk and should be removed immediately. I do not know if it is coincidence that I also installed Google Chrome web browser at the same time that this occurred or even if it is related.

Until there is an extensive 3rd party review published, this TV is still not real. If they are going to start shipping TVs to retailers in 3-4 weeks, they should have preview models that the reviewers can get now. Why the delay?

Yeah I waited forever for this tv as well, I too just bought a new Samsung and not going to lie I’m lovin it. I might upgrade in a few years when this tv actually comes out but I couldn’t wait any longer, no info, no price, and no release date.

Wait… the article says at the end of September, not November. I’m still a ways off from buying a new tv so not so worried, but I am getting impatient. I want the first generation to come out already so they can start working on the second generation of (hopefully) smaller tv’s. 65″ is too big for my set up.

The 3D thing was new information for me though. Kinda cool, not sure how it works or how it’s different from regular tv’s.

*sigh* No real new information other than yet another predicted date when Laservue should come out. I’ve finally given up on Laservue and purchased a new television today what with all of the Labor Day deals and such. I waited for more than a year for this tv and I couldn’t stands no more. Thanks for nothing Mitsubishi, Samsung has my money now.
