PLEASE Mitsubishi! Make at least a 57 inch Laser Vue. It is good to have a selection to appeal to all of us. The larger size TV's are too big for some media niche locations in contemporary homes.
At least one size smaller than a 65 inch is needed.

Mitisubishi probably realized it would be suicidal to introduce a "gimmicky" RPTV in the under 65-inch TV market, which is already flooded with scores of affordable flat screen TVs. A first production LaserVue isn't going to be cheap, so I think it's brilliant of Mitsubishi to initially target the big screen market, where the consumers don't necessarily care about cabinet depths or getting the best overall value. If LaserVue delivers the stunning picture quality it promises, look for the manufacturing costs of laser engines to fall in the next year or so, making it commercially possible for a mid-sized Laser RPTVs to be an alternative to PDP and LCD.

Hmmm ... 10" depth. I understand these are based on DLP rear projection technology, but the hype was that these were to be slimmer, like plasma and LCD, or slightly thicker. Don't see too many people wanting to try to hang something that will stick 10" out on their walls.

65" and 73" sizes? Those are huge, I hope they won't be the only sizes offered. I've been following lazer tv's since I first heard of them. I want to replace my current big screen and I'm waiting (im)patiently for laser to be released to do so. But there is no way a tv that big would be appropriate for my condo. My current is 47" (wide screen) and I would want something similar.
