Come on Mitsubishi blow away the competition and step up to the plate with a $2k 46 laser vue t.v. Your letting Samsung dominate the market with inferior technology. Make your money on volume not selling a few sets to the elite. Another problem is nobody knows about your tv either.

The market is really in need of a 42" Laser vue at an affordable price. Not to many people turning there home in to a temple of oversized vueing center.

I spoke with the Mitsu representive at their CES booth this last January (2009) and he said the problem with a front projector with LaserVue was the liability from shining lasers into peoples eyes. There doesn't appear to be any way of getting the necessary brightness for long throw projection without making a laser powerful enough that it could be used to remove unwanted tattoos.
